The legend himself will take the stage on Friday, Dec. 6, for a one-night-only stand-up set at the Robinson Center.
Best known for his comedy sketch series “Chappelle’s Show” that ran until 2006, Chappelle has since been touring and working on stand-up sets for Netflix. The Grammy- and Emmy-Award winner has also had stints on the big screen in movies like “You’ve Got Mail,” “Chi-Raq” and “A Star is Born.” Recently, Rolling Stone magazine ranked Chappelle No. 9 in its “50 Best Stand Up Comics of All Time” list.
Chappelle requests audience members live in the moment during the show and leave their cell phones at home or in their cars. Recording the show is strictly prohibited and every attendee is subjected to a pat-down and wanding. Anyone caught with a cell phone inside the venue will be immediately ejected.
Tickets go on sale Wednesday, Nov. 27, at 10 a.m. To snag yours, head to TicketMaster.com.
In the meantime, we’ll be revisiting some of our favorite Chappelle skits like this one and of course, this.
