Mr. Courtney will be at all performances and will conduct “Jesus\, Lover of My Soul\,” a commissioned piece by the Chorus honoring Conductor David A. Glaze for two decades of excellence in music. He will conduct and share the story that inspired him to compose “Ukrainian Alleluia.” \nAlso included on the all-Craig Courtney program will be diverse compositions and arrangements such as Vaughan Williams’ “Let All the World in Every Corner Sing\,” the gospel hymn “I’ll Fly Away” and “Lift Every Voice and Sing.” \nThere will be an additional performance at Ouachita Baptist University\, located in Arkadelphia\, on Sunday\, September 22 at 3:00 p.m. \nThe lyrics and beautiful harmonies of the music in these concerts are inspiring and will lift your spirit.
