Country Star Blake Shelton Coming to Verizon This June

It was announced this weekend that country star Blake Shelton will be making a stop on his “Ten Times Crazier Tour” with special guests The Band Perry, Dan + Shay and Neal McCoy on June 22 at Verizon Arena.

Tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday (April 25).

Grammy nominee Blake Shelton is CMA Awards’ reigning “Male Vocalist of the Year” for the 4th consecutive year, the 2013 recipient of “Album of the Year” for his current platinum-selling release, “Based On a True Story….” and is a coach on NBC’s Emmy Award-winning musical-competition series “The Voice.” Just off the heels of his multi-week No. 1 smash hit, “Boys ‘Round Here,” the follow-up single “Mine Would Be You” topped the charts for three weeks, making it one of the longest-charting country singles of 2013. The third single, “Doin’ What She Likes,” made history with the most consecutive No. 1’s on the country airplay charts marking his 16th No. 1 overall (11th consecutive) and his fourth and current single, “My Eyes,” is impacting radio now.

Opening the show is The Band Perry, who has grown in popularity since releasing their self-titled debut album on Republic Nashville in 2010, which scored the sibling trio a string of hits, including the quadruple-platinum “If I Die Young”; platinum “You Lie” and gold “All Your Life.”

Nashville newcomers Dan + Shay became the most added new duo of 2013 at country radio with their breakout debut hit “19 You + Me.” Already Top 20 on the charts after only 13 weeks, the track was written by the pair along with Nashville songwriter Danny Orton.

In the 20 years since he released his first single, Neal McCoy – the one-of-a-kind country singer and consummate live performer – has had more than 11 albums and over 25 charted singles.

Ticket prices will range from $42.50 and $69. They will be available Friday (April 25) at all Ticketmaster outlets, charge by phone at (800) 745-3000 or online.
