Take a trip back in time with the Clinton Presidential Center this month with a slew of spring break fun in conjunction with the museum’s temporary exhibit, “Like It’s 1999: American Popular Culture in the 1990s.”
Tthe week of March 23, the Clinton Center will host “decorate your denim activities” complete with a bedazzler, patches and other accessories. Families can then take photos with a ’90s backdrop to show off their fashion masterpieces. Oh, and don’t forget the Beanie Baby baggo.
Spring break activities at the Clinton Center are free, but admission fees to tour the exhibits apply. Children under age 6 receive free admission, kids ages 6- 17 are $6, and college students with a valid student ID are $8.
The Clinton Center’s current temporary exhibit, “Like It’s 1999” brings together various elements from props and scripts to fashion and tech that will tell the story of pop culture in the U.S. at the end of the 20th century.
You won’t want to miss Rose’s dress and Jack’s drawing portfolio from “Titanic,” scripts from “The West Wing,” one of Garth Brooks’ Stetson Cowboys hats, and a collection of Beanie Babies that were sent to the Clinton family during the White House years.
