Chinese Lantern Festival Headed to Fairgrounds This December

The holidays are about to get a little bit brighter in Little Rock.

The Chinese Lantern Festival is coming to the Arkansas State Fairgrounds Dec. 8 – Jan. 14 to light up the night sky with cultural experiences.

From 5:30-10 p.m. each night, guests can explore more than 30 giant lantern displays, each one custom built onsite by Chinese artisans with a passion to keep the tradition going. The festival will also include food, drinks, folk art demonstrations, live performances, a marketplace and more.

Tianyu Arts and Culture Inc. is behind the traveling fest, and hopes it can be “an opportunity to explore both the ancient culture of China while learning about China today.”

Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for kids aged 5-7.
