Update: Lee Richardson to Lend Talents to Cache

Update:

Today, we received this statement from Jacquelyn Compton Pittman, Chief Operations Officer of RH Cuisine, on behalf of Cache via Laura Woodard:

“Chef Payne Harding and Chef Lee Richardson have worked together at Cache on a recent collaboration dinner that was donated by Linda and Rush Harding as a live auction item for the Easter Seals Arkansan of the Year event that took place May 1, 2015. Future collaborations are in the works.”

This news made us very happy.

Our sister publication, Arkansas Business, has learned that Cache will soon announce Chef Lee Richardson will lend his talents (in some form) to the restaurant’s team. Richardson, a New Orleans native, was previously the executive chef at Ashley’s at the Capital Hotel from 2007 to 2012. Since his departure, we’ve been curious about where he would land next, while secretly hoping it would be somewhere here in the city.

Cache opened in December 2013 in Little Rock’s River Market District and is owned by Rush Harding, CEO of Crews & Associates, and his son, Payne.

Cache’s first executive chef, Matthew Cooper, left the restaurant at the end of last year and went on to join the Belfry in downtown Bentonville.
