Central Arkansas Escape Rooms Bring Mysteries to Life

The national escape room trend has made it to our doorstep, and it’s all thanks to a group called Central Arkansas Escape Rooms

What’s an escape room? Well, imagine a mix between a murder mystery party and a maze. Still not making sense? Ok, here’s how it actually works. You and a group of friends (up to 7) get locked in a room full of clues and puzzles. You have one hour to piece everything together and get yourselves out of the room. No cell phones allowed. No monsters jumping out at you. Just good, old fashioned puzzle solving.

(And don’t worry, you’re not actually locked in. You get a specialized code that will get you out of the room in case of an emergency.)

Central Arkansas Escape Rooms’ first-ever puzzle room is called the “Office of the Paranormal Investigator.” Here’s the setup:

Our grand-opening game puts you in the office of Federal Agent Wolf Muldoon. Agent Muldoon disappeared mysteriously in 1995. Due to unsettling sounds coming from within the office, the FBI sealed off the room a month after his disappearance. It has not been disturbed in 20 years. An hour ago, you got an anonymous international phone call begging you to find information that could lead to locating Agent Muldoon and solving the mystery that obsessed him so long ago. Can you find the answer and get back to the phone before the sounds drive you mad?

If your interest is piqued, check out the Central Arkansas Escape Rooms website for full info and reservations. You can also follow them on Facebook and Twitter for updates.

And keep your head on a swivel for their next puzzle, which will be released in March.
