In what might be the most tasty of competitions, The Preservation Libations Master Mix-Off is taking the cocktail game to the next level. In its inaugural year, this event from the Historic Preservation Alliance of Arkansas is rounding out to be every bit as awesome as it sounds.
In the first round, bartenders will mix their favorite Prohibition-era drinks for the crowds to enjoy, where they’ll be bucking for the “People’s Choice” award. Things get more interesting when competitors are asked to create a modern version of the drink for a panel of judges, hoping for the title of “Best in Business.”
