Just in case you forgot to cover your front lawn with giant cutouts of beer steins, the Central Arkansas Library System and the Central Arkansas Fermenters have just the thing to cover up such an embarrassing faux pas.
The two are partnering for Homebrewing 101, a day full of demonstrations and classes for everything from brewing techniques to bottling and kegging simulations.
This free event will take pace in the alleyway of the Ron Robinson Theater, which will also have two screenings of “Crafting a Nation,” a documentary about craft brewers who are “rebuilding the economy one beer at a time.”
Homebrewing 101 starts at 9 a.m. and runs until 6 p.m., so pick and choose your interests or stay all day and soak up some knowledge.
