We’re only a week away from the Fourth of July and all the patriotic parties that come with it, including a full evening of fun at one downtown location.
The Little Rock Marriott is marking the holiday with two star-spangled events: one that’s all about the family fun and one that’s for grownups only. Here’s your snapshot of the big day’s activities, all leading up to front-row seats to the biggest fireworks display of the season.
Firework Frenzy
When: 6 – 10 p.m.
Where: Grand Ballroom and Terrace
What to expect: This family-friendly bash is pulling out all the stops. Fuel up with burgers, hot dogs, barbecue chicken and Independence Day-themed desserts before you hit up the putt-putt golf, basketball, bounce houses, temporary tattoos and more, including a cash bar for the folks.

Rockets and Rodney
When: 8 – 11 p.m.
Where: Pinnacle Lounge
What to expect: The Fourth doesn’t get much smoother than this. The sounds of jazz artist Rodney Block await at this event, along with hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar.
