After multiple postponements, the American Cancer Society’s evening of “Starlight ‘N’ Spurs” finally returned to the Heifer International headquarters for the first time since 2019. Guests at the western-style gala tried their hand at roping and horseshoe throwing while enjoying bites from Corky’s Ribs & BBQ, a silent auction and live music from Mary-Heather and The Sinners. UAMS oncologist Dr. Omar Atiq was the 2021 honoree, who canceled the debts of nearly 200 patients in 2020.
