Women & Children First (WCF) held the ninth annual Caribbean Cabaret fundraising event poolside at the Edgehill home of hosts Daniel and Tiffany Robinson. Presented by WCF’s young professionals support group – the Peacekeepers – the tropical-themed event treated guests to silent and live auctions, live music, tropical libations provided by Glazers and delicious food prepared by Chef Donnie Ferneau. Live auction items included trips to Florida and California, a his-and-hers fashion extravaganza provided by The Independent and Barbara/Jean, a suite of Lagos jewelry from Sissy’s Log Cabin and more. Island sponsors included Arvest, Chip & Cindy Murphy, Natalie and Win Rockefeller and Bancorp South. WCF is central Arkansas’ largest domestic violence shelter, and it provides crisis intervention, safe shelter, social and legal advocacy, transitional housing, prevention education and support services.
