Everything’s coming up Miami in this brand new event on the fall social calendar.
Set for Saturday, Sept. 26, A Golden Social will bring all the palm trees and Palm Royale vibes to the Dreamland Ballroom, taking its cues straight from “The Golden Girls.”
The night promises coastal cocktails, beachy bites and more tastes of the tropics, including live entertainment, a silent auction and plenty of nods to the iconic show, and it’s all to raise funds for CareLink’s resources and services for aging Arkansans.
“We really wanted to celebrate just how much life there is to be lived as we grow older,” says Michelle Gilbert, CareLink’s VP of development. “At CareLink, we believe aging can and should be vibrant, connected and full of possibility. And we work every day to help make that possible for older adults across central Arkansas.
“A Golden Social brings that idea to life. We’re excited to invite the community into that celebration and introduce them to older adults, family caregivers and others whose stories show what it means to truly thrive as we age.”
