Downtown Little Rock’s historic Capital Hotel has a lot of Christmas spirit and it shows. The hotel’s sparkling Christmas tree was chosen by Forbes Travel Guide as one of the “10 most dazzling trees” in the country.
The 28-foot-white fir was decorated to the max by Little Rock’s Tipton & Hurst.
Here is what the entry read in the list:
“Considered the jewel of Little Rock, this Four-Star hotel keeps up a grand tradition with a slender, 30-foot white fir from Oregon on display in its majestic lobby. Inspired by the hotel’s stained-glass ceilings, Howard Hurst and his team at Tipton and Hurst Florist chose a classic palette of burgundy and gold, covering the branches with all-glass ornaments in a range of deep reds and an ethereal gold ribbon running through the sea of deep green.”
The hotel’s tree was among some of the most elaborate trees from places like The Plaza Hotel in New York City, Inn on Biltmore Estate in Asheville, N.C., the Bellagio in Las Vegas and St. Regis Monarch Beach, Dana Point, Calif.
