Now that the holidays are upon us, it’s time to turn our attention to the finer things in life, to fall and winter and all their lovely trappings. The Governor’s Mansion announced its upcoming event lineup just in time to put us in the holiday spirit.
Starting off the season is the annual Christmas open house on Saturday, Dec. 9. From 2-4 p.m., guests can tour the mansion and experience the elegant seasonal decor that only comes once a year. Reservations are free, but are required.
Next up is the Christmas tea on Wednesday, Dec. 13, at 10:30 a.m. Along with taking in the holiday decor, guests can get their fill of scrumptious bites and teas at this ticked event.
And finally, the children’s breakfast with Santa will be held on Saturday, Dec. 9, at 10 a.m. Tickets to this popular event always go fast, and have already sold out.
Proceeds from these events go to the Arkansas Governor’s Mansion Association, a nonprofit dedicated to the restoration and preservation of the historic property.
