CALS and Camp Lovely to Host Artisan Workshop Series

Did you ever think you’d take a class in iPhonography? How about holiday craft-making?

If the sound of those tickle your fancy, the Central Arkansas Library System and Camp Lovely, a batch of central Arkansas craft bloggers, have teamed up to put on a slew of modern, hands-on workshops in the Arcade Building Events Room downtown.

Here’s a quick rundown of the courses that will be offered.

Better iPhonography

Thursday, Oct. 16

Those Instagram filters aren’t cutting it. Find out some of the best techniques to edit pics on your phone and level up on your photo taking skills while you’re at it. There’s a whole world of photo apps and filters out there. Man shall not live on Toaster and X Pro II alone. 

DIY Screen Printing

Thursday, Nov. 13

Wait, isn’t screen printing super difficult and expensive and messy? Nope. In this class, you’ll learn how to screen print small scale projects the simple and affordable way. Bring it on, gift giving season.

Craft Blogging

Tuesday, Nov. 18

Maybe you’re already a craft connoisseur and you’re just looking to get your stuff out there. If that’s the case, stop in this workshop to find out photo tips, layout ideas and themes, as well as the ins and outs of how and when to post.

Holiday Crafting

Tuesday, Dec. 2

Ok, it doesn’t matter if you’re Martha Stewart, new holiday crafts never get old. Learn how to DIY your life all the way into the new year, no matter your skill level.
