The new year brings new changes to Bruno’s Little Italy in downtown Little Rock. The team behind Bruno’s is moving its deli at 308 Main St. into the full restaurant space next door to provide a large dining area for lunch costumers, which was not available before.
Bruno’s Deli opened to the public in August, and was designed for fast meals with to-go customers in mind. The venture had minimal seating and a walk-up ordering window, though many customers chose to eat on the Bruno’s Little Italy patio.
Now the lunch and dinner menus will be served under the same roof at 310 Main St. All of the beloved lunch sandwiches and fresh potato chips will still be available for customers to eat in the restaurant or order to-go. But rest assured — the deli space will not go unused.
“In order to serve lunch in Bruno’s with our small kitchen, we are moving the daily prep for evening service into the deli space, so that Bruno’s kitchen will have room to serve lunch,” says Gio Bruno, proprietor at Bruno’s.
While this merger is underway, the deli space will be closed until the transition is finished. Check on Bruno’s Facebook page for updates on when they’ll open up for lunch. For more information on the deli and its offerings, see our earlier story about Bruno’s here.
