Blink-182 and Brantley Gilbert are Coming to Verizon Arena

Verizon Arena can’t stop (won’t stop) bringing in the music stars.

This is no small thing, music fans. Iconic punk rockers Blink-182 are the latest to announce a show at Verizon Arena on Friday, March 31, adding a slew of performances to their successful 2016 world tour.

The Grammy-nominated band has sold more than 50 million albums worldwide in their 24-year history, and their latest tour comes on the heels of their newest album, “California.” The album has been getting great reviews, but showgoers can definitely expect to hear some of their favorite ’90s songs.

“This is the next step for us — it’s not a stopgap and we’re not punching a clock,” bassist and lead vocalist Mark Hoppus said. “We’re not just a greatest-hits band, although we will play the hits. Blink is alive and well and we’re excited about doing cool new stuff.”

Touring with Blink-182 is the indie electronic band The Naked and Famous, hailing all the way from Auckland, New Zealand.

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 11.
