Fashion designer Nicole Miller was the special guest at this year’s Baptist Health Bolo Bash, which consisted of two special events. On the eve of the luncheon, Roller Funeral Home sponsored a VIP meet-and-greet reception at the Palisades home of Lynn and George O’Connor. Guests enjoyed hors d’oeuvres, drinks and mingling with the special guest. The following day’s luncheon at Baptist Health’s J.A. Gilbreath Conference Center was sponsored by Dillard’s and consisted of a silent auction, lunch, and a Q&A with Miller and a fashion show featuring looks from her spring 2015 line. Lisa Fischer of B98.5 served as the event’s host. Combined proceeds from the Bolo Bash Luncheon, tennis and golf tournaments raised over $728,000 for Baptist Health’s surgery expansion and equipment.
