Another nonprofit is taking the party to the streets, and we’re all in.
The Ronald McDonald House Charities of Arkansas will host its inaugural Blue Jeans & Bubbles event on Saturday, Oct. 9, on the 13-15th Street block of South Main.
This new festival is designed to be a “casual meets sophisticated” affair and will feature custom eats from surrounding SoMa restaurants, as well as a signature champagne bar inside The Bernice Garden and champagne sorbet from Loblolly Creamery.
Neighborhood shops will be open for attendees to peruse, and local performers Bijoux and Juicebox Jake and the Lunchables will provide the live music.
The day’s proceeds will help further RMHCA’s mission to provide a “home away home” at no cost for families with kids in the hospital. The goal is to fund 2,000 nights for families at both the Ronald McDonald House and the Ronald McDonald Family Room at UAMS.
For more information on Blue Jeans & Bubbles and to purchase tickets, visit the RMHCA website and check out the Facebook event page for updates. Must be 21 or older, and guests are encouraged to keep social distance and wear masks when not eating or drinking.
