‘Bill Clinton Hercules’ Comes to Rep’s Black Box Theatre

We’re going out on a limb here and assuming you’ve never seen Bill Clinton quite like this.

“Bill Clinton Hercules” is the latest show to come to the Arkansas Repertory Theatre Annex’s new Black Box Theatre. This show is what the 42nd President might think of a fantasy TED Talk.

The allegorical play by Seamus Heaney, “The Cure at Troy,” is at the core of this one-man show, and Bob Paisley is at the reins as old 42 himself. In this production, we see Clinton run himself through the tough questions:

“Is he the beloved icon or reviled Slick Willy?”

“A life epic in its own right. But what will be his final act?”

“What does the future hold for the possible ‘First Gentleman’ as Hillary runs for the White House?”

“Bill Clinton Hercules” will be at the annex for a four-show run March 24-26. For showtimes and more information, or to purchase tickets online, visit The Rep’s website. You can also call (501) 378-0445 or visit the theatre box office downtown at 601 Main St., Little Rock.
