Big Orange Hosts Spring Wine Dinner With Chef Scott McGehee

Cheers to a new season and new seasonal wine pairings!

The teams of Raptor Ridge Winery and Big Orange are joining forces for Le Bistro Orange, a wine and dining experience, on Thursday, March 23.

For one night only, the Promenade at Chenal location will host a unique spring wine dinner featuring five specialty pours from Raptor Ridge paired with a four-course, off-menu, locally-sourced meal put together by executive chef Scott McGehee.

The evening will also include sessions with Raptor Ridge assistant winemaker Kevin Wiles and wine guru Alexia Elichiry for guests to learn about the process of pairing and more.

Here’s a look at the menu:

  • fresh picked crab with local baby beets, chervil, creme fraiche and toast
  • soups de poissions with charred bread, wilson garden carrots and aleppo pepper aioli
  • short rib with Arkansas morel mushrooms, watercress and fresh fromage blanc and goat cheese dumplings
  • fresh fried lemon zest donut with warm French chocolate and Arkansas strawberry-raspberry glaze
