Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Arkansas (BBBSCA) hosted the 39th annual Toast & Roast at the DoubleTree Hotel in downtown Little Rock. The event — which honored Executive Director of the Downtown Little Rock Partnership Sharon Priest — consisted of a reception and silent auction followed by dinner, a live auction and the program. This year marked a milestone, as it was the first time in the event’s history in which a woman was selected as the honoree. Antwan Davis and Michael Irvin served as event co-chairs. Proceeds from this event allow BBBSCA to continue their mission of providing children facing adversity with strong and enduring, professionally supported one-to-one relationships that change their lives for the better, forever. The BBBSCA has been putting on the Toast & Roast since 1975 and has raised more than $1.2 million for youth programs over the years.
