ArtWorks XXV benefiting Arkansas Repertory Theatre will get underway Saturday (April 12) with a silent and live auction featuring more than 90 of central Arkansas’ most talented artists and artisans, and live musical entertainment from singer, songwriter Jimmy Landfair.
Attendees will be able to enjoy light appetizers and drinks while bidding on a variety of beautiful pieces like pottery, watercolor, acrylic, photography, sculpture, jewelry and much more.
Here is the schedule:
- 6:30 p.m.: Lite bites, drinks and music (Heavy hors d’oeuvres will be provided by Sufficient Grounds, RSVP Catering and Your Mama’s Good Food; music for the evening will be provided by the Funkanites)
- 6:30 p.m.: Silent Art Auction
- 7:30 p.m.: Live Art Auction
All artists who make a donation to ArtWorks receive two tickets to Artworks, a six admission flex-pass and the opportunity to display their pieces in The Rep lobby throughout the entire run of a show during the current season.
ArtWorks is an exchange program between visual artists and Arkansas Repertory Theatre. The art displayed in The Rep’s lobbies is available for purchase with proceeds from gallery sales going directly to artists. Proceeds from donated art sold at the annual ArtWorks auction supports the general operating fund of Arkansas Repertory Theatre.
