A graduate of Arkansas State University, Hopkins completed his degree in less than two years, earning recognition as an outstanding real estate and insurance major and receiving the Robert E. Lee Wilson Award, ASU’s highest student award. He earned his juris doctor from the University of Arkansas where he was chief justice of the student court and president of Phi Alpha Delta legal fraternity.

Ryan J. Caststeel

Business, Commercial & Financial Law 

Caststeel graduated with high honors from UA Little Rock’s Bowen School of Law in 2007. He also earned both his bachelor’s degree in business administration and his MBA from the University of Central Arkansas.

His clients include financial institutions, businesses, nonprofits and entrepreneurs, which he represents in both litigation and transactional matters. His practice spans commercial lending and finance, creditor rights, corporate governance, regulatory compliance, real estate, employment, mergers and acquisitions, strategic planning and contract negotiation.

“My objective is to turn my clients’ challenges into opportunities, and those opportunities into accomplishments,” says Caststeel, whose combined legal and business backgrounds provides well-rounded guidance that blends strategy with practical insight.

This marks Caststeel’s sixth consecutive recognition on Soirée’s list of Little Rock’s Best Lawyers. His commitment to client success has also earned him distinction from Super Lawyers, which named him a Rising Star from 2012-2022. Caststeel is married to Allison, and they have a daughter, Rylann.
