Bentonville-Based Tusk & Trotter to Open North Little Rock Location

Argenta cuisine just got a little tastier thanks to Tusk & Trotter American Brasserie. Led by executive chef and owner Rob Nelson, the Bentonville-based restaurant serving “high South” cuisine will open its second location in the new First Orion building in the 500 block of Main Street.

Tusk and Trotter’s accolades include a feature in The New York Times, a nomination in Southern Living for “Best Restaurant in the South” and a 2018 nomination for “Proprieter of the Year” from the Arkansas Food Hall of Fame.

Other than almost doubling in size compared to the Bentonville location, the plan is to keep the Tusk & Trotter NLR cuisine similar to what’s offered in northwest Arkansas, but with an emphasis on central Arkansas cuisine.

The plan is to open Tusk & Trotter NLR in the spring, but there will be a series of “pop-up” events, such as a farm-to-table event with Rabbit Ridge and dinners with chefs from across the state.
