Whether you’re looking for a new hobby or just a fun activity out of the summertime heat, Bella Vita Jewelry has you covered.
Hosted at the Bella Vita, the shop has a full lineup of hands-on workshops covering everything from flower harvesting to spring cleaning to, of course, jewelry making. Along with you new favorite skill, workshops also include refreshments and coupons to shop at Bella Vita.
Here’s a look at what’s in store for the month of June.
Crystals 101 with Michelle Rhodes of Moon+Myrrh
June 5, 5:30 & 7:30 p.m.
New to the crystal scene? This workshop’s for you. Here guests will learn how to determine what metaphysical qualities a crystal holds, how to cleanse and charge it and how to use it in any mindfulness practice. You’ll also put together your own chakra necklace to add a little balance to your life.
Using Local Flowers to Create Beautiful Bouquets with Kim Doughty-McCannon of Bell Urban Farm
June 15, 3 p.m.
Anyone else feel like putting together the perfect bouquet is a magical skill only a few possess? This class will teach you the formula for the perfectly balanced bouquet, as well as best practices for flower harvesting and how to start your own cut-flower garden.
Spring Cleaning and Organization with Leslie Marshall of The Marshall Concept and Erin Wood of Et Alia Press
June 19, 6 p.m.
It’s a law of nature: Your jewelry will turn into a jumbled mess when you travel. This class challenges that law by teaching some easy rules and tools for storing jewelry properly at home and on the road, as well as your mess of a bookshelf.
Girls Night Out with Bella Vita and Cocoa Belle
June 27, 5:30 p.m.
The ingredients for a great girls night? Chocolate, wine, shopping and crafts. Here you’ll have loads of beads and charms to make your own pair of earrings while you enjoy miniature desserts from Cocoa Belle and a box of truffles to take home.
If that’s not enough to keep you interested, Bella Vita will also roll out a whole new set of classes in July, so you may want to keep your calendar flexible.
The shop is located at 108 W. Sixth St. To learn more and claim your spot, visit the Bella Vita website and follow along on Facebook and Instagram.
