On April 3, Barbara/Jean will launch the newest collection at the boutique, the Maison Marie Saint Pierre Shop. The shop will be a permanent fixture within Barbara/Jean. In addition, Marie Saint Pierre herself will be at Barbara/Jean from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. on opening day to toast the new line.
Saint Pierre has made a name for herself in the fashion world since the launch of her Maison in the late 1980s. Since then, she has received many awards including the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal. In addition to ready-to-wear, she has designed wedding collections, fragrances, accessories and even outfitted Lara Croft, the heroine of the “Tomb Raider” franchise.
Guests will have the chance to sip cocktails, enjoy hors d’oeuvres and shop an extended collection of spring items, as well as the full fall collection trunk show. At 11 a.m., Saint Pierre and Barbara/Jean owner Christine Phelan will make a few short remarks, followed by a celebratory champagne toast to launch the shop.
