Baptist Health to Host Inaugural Stroke Awareness Walk

Baptist Health will host its inaugural Step Out for Stroke walk on Friday, May 16, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Baptist Health Medical Center-Little Rock. The 2.2-mile event is free and open to the public, offering a meaningful day of remembrance, celebration and community connection.

The walk is dedicated to honoring stroke survivors, remembering loved ones lost and raising awareness about the signs and symptoms of stroke. Participants will include survivors, caregivers, medical professionals and supporters from across central Arkansas, united by a shared goal of spreading hope and education.

Organizers see the event as a chance to stand together in support and share powerful stories of resilience. Information booths, support resources and stroke education materials will be available on-site to help participants learn more about prevention and care.

Whether attending in honor of a loved one or as a survivor, every step taken during the Baptist Health Stroke Walk represents progress toward a healthier, more informed community.

Early registration is encouraged. To learn more about the Step Out for Stroke walk, visit the Baptist Health website and follow along on Facebook and Instagram. To register, click here.
