Have you ever wanted to get an up-close look at the state’s premier dance organization? Now’s your chance.
Ballet Arkansas is launching a brand new event series designed to bring the art-loving community together in an intimate space. Titled Motion on Main, the series will feature dance collaborations with local artists and musicians in the Ballet Arkansas’ Creative Corridor studio on Main Street.
These themed events will offer guests everything from wine tastings to live music, all paired with a unique dance experience.
Some event details are still in the works, but here’s a look at what’s coming to 520 Main:
- Sept. 9 – Director’s Welcome Kickoff Party
- Oct. 28 – Halloween Masquerade Ball
- Jan. 20 – Winter Wine Tasting
- Feb. 14 – Red Hot Valentines
- April 28 – DanceWorks
Along with Motion on Main, more exciting news is expected from Ballet Arkansas as Michael Fothergill and Catherine Garratt Fothergill join the organization as the new artistic and associate artistic directors, and details on the upcoming season are released.
