ASO Guild to Host Reimagined Symphony of Homes Tour This Spring

The Arkansas Symphony Orchestra Guild’s signature event is getting a bit of a redesign.

Formerly the ASO Designer House, the reimagined Symphony of Homes will take place this spring over the course of two weekends, April 22-23 and 29-30.

In the past, every two years, a slew of Arkansas’ top interior designers and landscapers would descend on one house, each transforming a different room, and guests would purchase tickets to tour the house.

For the Symphony of Homes, guests will have the opportunity to visit seven different houses across the metro, each one showcasing the talents of a single designer throughout the home. Guests can choose to visit all seven in one weekend, or spread out their visits over two weekends, with guides stationed at each residence to answer any questions.

This year’s featured designers include Ashley Childers, Sha Davari, Tobi Fairley, Jill Lawrence, Miguel Newberg and Larry West Jr.

To kick off the Symphony of Homes, the Guild will host a launch party titled “Prelude” on Friday, April 21, from 7-10 p.m., highlighting yet another beautiful home in the city.

Proceeds from the Symphony of Homes help support the ASO’s music education programs across the state.

“Music education programs are vital to our community as they teach youth lasting life skills along with an appreciation for the arts,” ASO Guild President Tandy Cobb says. “The Symphony of Homes is not only an opportunity to experience some of the most exquisite homes in the area, but, more importantly, the event is an opportunity to support the continuation of music education in our community.”

This is the first home design event for the Guild since 2018. Its 25 anniversary Designer House was originally slated for spring of 2020.

Tickets to Prelude and the Symphony of Homes are available online now. Tickets will also be available on-site at each home, though purchasing in advance is recommended. Learn more on the ASO Guild website, and follow along on Facebook and Instagram for the latest.
