“These watercolor studies have been obsessively done as a form of therapy during the COVID-19 pandemic. My observation of flowers as they bloom this particular spring has been an awakening to the wonders of nature, its persistence, as well as a welcome distraction.
As the studies began to pile up I began haphazardly taping them to the walls of the room that doubles as my studio. Between March and July I filled nearly every square inch of the walls of the room, transforming the space into a sanctuary of color and life.”
