ArkansasGives Announces 2017 Goal

Power to the nonprofits!

April 6 will mark the third and final year for ArkansasGives, but the team behind it has every intention of going out with a bang.

If you remember, ArkansasGives is a day devoted to online giving for local nonprofits and comes from the Arkansas Nonprofit Alliance and the Arkansas Community Foundation joining forces.

At a nonprofit rally on Tuesday, the group announced its 2017 fundraising goal: a cool $5 million.

In 2016 alone, approximately 600 nonprofits received more than $4.2 million combined, surpassing its goal of $4 million. Gifts not only went to the donor’s choice of charities, but also helped the organizations earn bonus dollars matched from a pool provided by the ACF — a pool that will once again be offered in 2017. In its two years, the event has raised more than $6 million.

So let’s do this thing and raise $5 million, Arkansas!
