The Arkansas Symphony Orchestra is presenting three free outdoor pop-up concerts around Little Rock May 26-28 to celebrate the closing of its 55th full season.
The concerts will feature the Rockefeller String Quartet on the 26th, the ASO Brass Quintet on the 27th and the Quapaw String Quartet on the 28th. Each show will begin at 7 p.m.
“We couldn’t think of a better way to close this unusual but rewarding season than with three free outdoor pop-up concerts as a thank you to the community that supported us through this past year,” ASO CEO Christina Littlejohn says,
The ASO performs more than sixty concerts each year for more than 165,000 people through its multiple series, including the Stella Boyle Smith Masterworks Series, Acxiom Pops Live! Series, River Rhapsodies Chamber Music Series and numerous concerts performed around Arkansas and through multiple community outreach programs.
Patrons should bring their own seating. Masks and social distancing will be required.
