Arkansas Symphony Orchestra Presents Mahler’s Fifth Symphony

Conductor Phillip Mann, composer Christopher Theofanidis and the Arkansas Symphony Orchestra are bringing Mahler’s Fifth Symphony to the Robinson Center Music Hall this weekend.

The piece was conducted by Gustav Mahler in the early 1900s. The more unmistakable features of the piece include the funeral trumpet solo and the slow pace.

Performances are set for 8 p.m. Saturday (April 12) and 3 p.m. Sunday (April 13). Tickets are $14-$53 and can be purchased here.
