The Arkansas Symphony Orchestra recently announced its lineup for the 2015 Intimate Neighborhood Concerts (INC) Series.
The likes of Mozart, Tchaikovsky, Vivaldi, Bach and ASO Composer of the Year John Corigliano will be featured in this series. INC will kick off with Mozart’s two-act opera, The Magic Flute, in partnership with Opera In The Rock, at the Albert Pike Memorial Temple, Jan. 22-23 at 7 p.m.
What makes this series so special are the unordinary venues, hence the “intimate” tag. Large auditoriums are great, but there’s something about close proximity and music and the ASO understands completely. Not only will patrons enjoy an up-close experience, but they’re also invited to mingle with the musicians after each show.
