Sometimes change calls for a little bit of good trouble.
To honor the life and legacy of John Lewis, the Arkansas Peace & Justice Memorial Movement will be screening the 2020 documentary “John Lewis: Good Trouble” on Monday, July 27, at 6 p.m. online.
The free screening features interviews and archival footage to tell the story of Lewis’ 60-plus years of social activisim and legislative action on civil rights, voting rights, gun control, health care reform and immigration.
The event is part of the Shelter-in-Place Virtual Film Series, which is a joint project of Arkansas PBS, Just Communities of Arkansas, Arkansas Cinema Society, Washitaw Foothills Youth Media Arts & Literacy Collective, Arkansas Minority Film & Arts Association and Arkansas Peace & Justice Memorial Movement.
