If your living room decor mirrors that of a Holiday Inn Express, it might be time to treat yourself.
Cue the Arkansas Arts Center to the rescue with its annual Museum School Sale, which will be held virtually Nov. 23 – Dec. 18.
The school’s faculty and students will have tons of exceptional works up for grabs, and they’ll be adding more pieces throughout the sale, so check back to find a new favorite. Expect pottery, pastels, jewelry, photography, fused glass and lots more, perfect if you’re trying to lock down your holiday shopping early.
Thanks to the virtual format, the AAC is also adding four “Meet the Maker” programs where you can tour the studios of some of the school’s featured artists and learn more about their work via Zoom.
- Nov. 24 – printmaker Kate Askew
- Dec. 1 – jeweler Melissa Orsini
- Dec. 8 – ceramicist Lauren Bellomy
- Dec. 15 – artist Robert Bean
Plus, if you’re a member of the AAC, you can get first dibs at a members-only preview party on Nov. 20, which will also be held virtually.
