Calling all thespians! The Argenta Community Theater (ACT) announces auditions for “Fiddler on the Roof.” Casting all roles, ACT is also looking for dancers and ensemble vocalists.
Auditions:
Thursday, Jan. 9:
Read/Sing from 6p.m. to 8p.m.
Dance call from 8p.m to 9p.m.
Saturday, Jan. 11:
Read/Sing from 1p.m. to 3p.m.
Dance call from 3p.m to 4p.m.
Call Backs:
Sunday, Jan. 12 from 5:30p.m. to 7:00p.m.
Rehearsals begin June 16.
Those auditioning are required to prepare 16 bars from the show preferred or in style of show. Slides will be available for cold readings. Performing arts resume and a headshot are also requested.
A story about a father of five daughters, Fiddler on the Roof tells the tale of Tevye’s attempts to maintain his family and Jewish religious traditions while outside influences encroach up on their lives.
