The 2021 Soirée Women’s Leadership Symposium, presented by Delta Dental and The Hatcher Agency, is part of an Arkansas Business Publishing Group effort to bring leadership-focused opportunities to professionals in the state of Arkansas.
As a sponsor of the symposium, the Women’s Foundation of Arkansas will cover the costs of 30 women who apply here to receive full access to the interactive virtual event on April 29.
“The WFA is proud to support Soiree’s Womens Leadership Symposium and its scholarship fund,” said Anna Beth Gorman, executive director of the Women’s Foundation of Arkansas. “At the WFA we know that many women for many reasons still face barriers to access opportunities that can serve to inspire and empower their personal trajectories. Our partnership ensures that women in our state have access to the amazing opportunity that the SWLS program offers.”
On April 29, attendees will hear from industry experts, entrepreneurs, political leaders, C-suite executives and influencers focusing on women in the workplace, all within a space designed to build professional skills, network, open conversations and create a collaborative movement that will bring professionals together.
This year’s symposium will provide opportunities to discuss topics such as navigating male-dominated industries, the essential skills of negotiating, empowering performance through giving and receiving feedback, addressing issues of race and culture in the workplace and so many more. Randi Zuckerberg and Janet Stovall will be the keynote speakers.
The symposium will be a hybrid model of limited capacity in-person attendance spread out across the DoubleTree Hotel and Robinson Center in downtown Little Rock, as well as a fully interactive virtual option. Scholarship recipients will attend virtually.
The deadline for applications is April 14. Scholarship recipients will be notified via email by April 16.
