The Arkansas Museum of Fine Arts Children’s Theatre returns with a bang — actually, with a pop — this month.
On May 21-22, Seoul-based “Doodle POP” will bring its unique visual-driven, non-verbal show full of physical comedy and, of course, art for families to enjoy at the CALS Ron Robinson Theater.
Doodle POP follows the multi-sensory adventures of Boogie and Woogie, a mischievous duo with a magical whiteboard who explore the scapes of friendship and imagination, all set to live music and interactive projections.
“Bringing Doodle POP from South Korea to Little Rock introduces our audience to the breadth of cultural and artistic productions coming to AMFA in the future,” says Katie Campbell, AMFA Director of Children’s Theatre and Performing Arts. “They have performed at theaters and festivals all over the world to rave reviews, so we are very pleased to be the last stop on their first U.S. tour.”
You can see Doodle POP at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Saturday and at 2 and 4 p.m. on Sunday. This show is recommended for audiences age 3 and older. Proof of vaccine or negative test required for ages 6 and older.
