After-Hours Fun: 7 Places to Try Tasty Adult Beverages

It’s only Monday, but that might be reason enough to already think about after-hours wine or cocktails. 

Here is a look at seven spots in the area offering special drinking events after 5 p.m. this week:

  1. Crush Wine Bar, 318 N. Main St., North Little Rock: Stop by the Argenta wine bar for a special Seghesio Family Vineyards tasting from 5:30-7:30 p.m. today (Jan. 27). Here are the wines for the evening: Seghesio Pinot Grigio, Seghesio Sangiovese, Seghesio Sonoma Zinfandel, Seghesio Old Vine Zinfandel and Seghesio Rockpile Zinfandel. Crush’s fine selection of cheeses and meats will also be available for $15.   2. Big Orange: Midtown, 207 N. University Ave., Little Rock: The favorite burger spot will be featuring a special firkin keg from Vino’s Pizza-Pub-Brewery with all proceeds going to the Dunbar Community Garden Project. South on Main, 1304 Main St., Little Rock: The SoMa restaurant/music venue is gearing back up for its first “Local Live” concert of the year with rapper Big Piph & Friends, which means a chance to sip on wine, beer or one of South on Main’s fantastic cocktails while enjoying the free show, starting at 7 p.m. Wednesday (Jan. 29). Zin Urban Wine and Beer Bar, 300 River Market Ave., Suite 1, Little Rock: Enjoy five selected wines from around the world at this cool downtown Little Rock wine and beer spot tonight during its weekly Wine Tasting Wednesday event from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday (Jan. 29). Or, if you can’t make it Wednesday, Zin has Happy Hour from 4-6 p.m. Monday through Friday, offering $5 house reds, $5 house whites and $1 off all beers.   5. Stone’s Throw Brewing, 402 E.   6. Cajun’s Wharf, 2400 Cantrell Road, Little Rock: Stop by the Riverdale fixture on the river for its weekly Wine Down Wednesday where you can sip on a variety of $5 wines and pair them with yummy seafood. Get more information and see what their specials are closer to time here.
  7. The Joint, 301 Main St., Suite 102, North Little Rock: This weekend, take in a special performance of The Joint’s latest production “Winter Sucks!” while enjoying a yummy libation and nibbles.
