Camp Aldersgate’s annual Aldersgate After Dark is known for creating an immersive experience for guests, and with this year’s theme of Big Sky, we knew we likewise wanted to go all in for our shoot with chairs Kristin and Jason Chacko.
“I had a lot of fun pulling the wardrobe for this,” stylist and editorial contributor Josie Burnett says. “Round Up Vintage is one of Little Rock’s newest vintage shops, and its selection of cool cowboy pieces helped me visualize what I wanted Jason in. They have a ton of great Pendleton pieces, denim shirts, leather jackets and so much more.”
But when a winter storm forced us to rethink our outdoor shoot, it was all ranch hands on deck.
“With the help of photographer Jason Masters’ creative rigging and five bales of straw, we were able to transform the studio into a cowboy’s sunset dream scene,” art director Emma Devine says. “Many thanks to the Chacko family who were along for the ride and braved the cold to make things happen!”

To get ready for the Easterseals Fashion Event, we got a head start on the joyous and the glamorous.
“We were drawn to the idea of a spring hide and seek — shiny bits of chunky jewelry nestled between the delicate petals of some of Tipton & Hurst’s most gorgeous blooms,” Devine says. “We kept the lighting a bit moody to show winter’s chill is still in the air and to help make the shine on the pieces really dramatic.”
“It’s a simple concept with a massive impact.”
