Accents: Highlights of the July Issue

An emphasis on some of the best moments of the new issue, poolside living, burger goodness and more.

Vegan Friendly

For the carnivores among us, this month’s spotlight of three local burger buffs will no doubt have you salivating. But we haven’t forgotten you, non-meat-eaters. You can opt for a scrumptious veggie patty instead on any of your Smashed ‘n’ Stacked burgers or a falafel patty at Brood & Barley.

Standout Quote

“It wasn’t ever about me.”

Vincent Insalaco, co-founder and producing artistic director of the Argenta Contemporary Theatre

Bona Fido

As is tradition, we spent the month of June deeply invested in our 10th annual Cutest Dog Contest. Click here to see who won, and keep an eye out for their editorial debut in our September issue!

Dining in Style

Exploring the Ninth and Co. showroom for our story with co-owner Megan Thomas was a wonderful trip down a stylish rabbit hole. The outdoor lifestyle retailer was, of course, filled with furniture for enjoying the yard life, but we were also impressed with the selection of decor, fragrances, lighting and serveware they have in store. Who wouldn’t want to sip something chilled from this elegant set poolside?

Splashy Spaces

Speaking of poolside, our Most Beautiful Homes feature once again took us to some of the most luxurious spaces in the city, and we’ll be daydreaming about this one for the foreseeable future.
