AARP Hosts Free Screening of ‘Selma’

If you never not the chance to see the Oscar-winning movie “Selma,” here’s your chance. 

AARP Arkansas is hosting a free screening of the film in honor of Black History Month. The screening is part of Movies for Grownups series, which aims to spotlight and celebrate movies with storylines, performances and filmmaking that have distinct relevance to the 50+ population. 

This movie tells the story of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s campaign for equal voting rights in the three-month period in 1965. It won and was nominated for multiple Oscars, Golden Globes, AFI Awards and many, many more.
