Knowledge is power and nostalgia is our love language.
The Arkansas Arts Center’s Children’s Theatre is gearing up for what is undoubtedly one of the coolest shows of all time (yep, we’re calling it): “Schoolhouse Rock Live!” The show includes favorites like “Just a Bill,” “Conjunction Junction,” and “Interplanet Janet,” and runs March 4-25 at the AAC.
Doesn’t get better than that, right? Wrong.
On Thursday, March 10, the AAC is hosting a singalong performance for grownups called “Schoolhouse on the Rocks.” The event will also include themed drinks and a milk and cereal bar, because we all know there’s no better way to learn than by singing the Preamble with a bowl of Cap’n Crunch on your lap, and doing so with a room full of adults following suit.
The eats begin at 6 p.m. with showtime at 7 p.m. Tickets are $10 for members, $20 for non-members and include the reception and show. For more information and to purchase tickets, click here.
