I have been a community banker for the majority of my career. I worked my way up the organizational chart starting as a teller during my college years, then as a bank examiner and finally various roles throughout the bank. I moved into my current role three years ago.

PRESSING QUESTIONS
A skill I never expected to need in this field
How to “trust my gut.” In banking, we quantify everything. Sometimes it is better to just trust your gut when the numbers don’t seem to make sense.
Biggest challenges in my career
Being underestimated. I am frequently the only female around the meeting table. I can tell my presence sometimes changes the dynamic of the group.
How I knew this was my passion
At heart I am still just a small-town girl. Bank of Little Rock has that small town bank vibe that I love. It is the best of both worlds combined.
One practice I use to maintain my mental health
Spending time with family and friends. I have a group of friends who love game nights and Thursday night dinners. Those timesare always good for my mental health.
