I own AC Designs, an interior design studio, and Tuck & Trim, a window covering business. My passion for creativity such as art, sewing and decorating began in college. What started as small projects for friends grew into a full-time career, leading me to leave teaching and follow my love for design.
Being able to do a job where you love what you do makes this easy. I love working with my amazing team and clients. We have so much fun.
Merging my creative talents and way of thinking with the needs and demands of running a business. I have had to delegate and rely on many others to help me.
It helped me learn the value of teamwork and also time management. Those are skills I use daily with my design team, our clients and running two businesses.
Interior design isn’t all glamorous. There’s managing inventory, budgeting, problem-solving and the constant pressure to deliver your best while making sure each client feels seen, heard and completely satisfied.
