Lace up your sneakers and swap the shamrocks for something red. What started as the Shamrock Shuffle is now firmly in its new era. Last year, the popular 5K took on a new name, and 2026 marks the second year of the Red Shoe Shuffle.
Now in its fifth year, the family-friendly 5K fun run and walk benefiting Ronald McDonald House Arkansas and North Louisiana will return to Two Rivers Park on Saturday, April 25.
After tackling the 3.1-mile route near the river, participants rocking their red shoes will be rewarded with finishers’ medals and event T-shirts, then celebrate with post-race snacks, drinks, games and music.
The Red Shoe Shuffle is hosted by the Red Shoe Crew, the auxiliary group that supports RMH’s mission to provide housing and services for families with hospitalized children.
Proceeds from this year’s event will directly support the construction of the newest Ronald McDonald House inside Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock, helping give families a place to stay just steps away from where their children are receiving care.
