I fell in love with the way ZenStudio made me feel the day I took my first class at the Jonesboro studio as a college sophomore. Fast forward nine years, I now lead our Little Rock location and work alongside leadership from all four studios to make ZenStudio a place for people to build a positive relationship with the way they work out physically and mentally. As an instructor, I host workouts that empower and motivate clients. As a manager, I work to create an experience that impacts lives.

PRESSING QUESTIONS
Best career moment so faR
Crushing every goal we had set for 2019 made it our best year company wide. Our successes have allowed us to take on and power through the challenges of a year like 2020.
A skill I never expected to need in this field
I learned early on to be resourceful and use google as much as possible, especially when it's crunch time and you have no choice but to be the studio's handy(wo)man, sound technician, wi-fi guru, technology expert, etc.
Biggest challenges in my career
I place a lot of focus on customer service and creating an experience that positively impacts the lives of others, and sometimes I don't realize the toll taking care of others places on me personally.
I wish someone told me at the start of my career
It is imperative to trust yourself and honor what your gut tells you in the big moments.
The one thing I wish people knew about my field
It takes a strong and resilient individual (and team) to thrive. There are no off days for instructors. We have to show up, turn on the engines and put our hearts and energy out to clients and classes.
Best advice I ever received
“Do the best you can do until you know better. And then do better.” -Maya Angelou
What keeps me coming back to my job every day
ZenStudio clients, hands down! I truly love the people I've met and the relationships built. ZenStudio is a special place that feels like a second home, which has always been our goal to create.
